Travelex is an Australian retail and online currency solutions provider, originally opened by Lloyd Dorfman in 1976 with his first store in London's Southampton Row. Travelex has over forty years of experience in forex trading and has assisted millions of clients in over 70 countries and regions. Travelex currently holds a full license with ASIC in Australia (license number: 222444).
Products & Services of Travelex
Travelex's main products and services are Foreign Cash, Travel Money Cards, and International Money Transfer Services. 60+ foreign currencies are available in-store and online at Travelex, and 12 foreign currencies are available at ATMs.2 Travelex's Travel Money Cards can be loaded with up to 10 available currencies and can be used at locations (including ATMs) that accept MasterCard. Travelex's international money transfer service allows users to send money abroad online or in-store. In addition to providing foreign currency services directly to retail out-of-store users, Travelex has long-standing strategic relationships with many airport operators, travel agencies, retailers, and financial institutions to provide them with retail foreign exchange, outsourcing, and wholesale banknote solutions.
Online Exchange Rates of Travelex
Travelex provides in-store comparisons of major currencies with online travel currency providers, and prices are subject to change throughout the day and vary in-store compared to online stores. For example, the cash rate offered by Travelex is 0.7609 for the US dollar and 0.7694 for the travel card; 0.6235 for the euro and 0.6288 for the travel card, 0.5434 for the British pound and 0.5456 for the travel card, 1.0463 for the New Zealand dollar and 1.0497 for the travel card, and the Japanese yen cash rate is 80.5006, and the travel card price is 80.585, the Singapore dollar cash rate is 0.9822, and the travel card price is 0.9833, the Hong Kong dollar cash rate is 5.7592, and the travel card price is 5.7652.
Remittance of Travelex
Travelex has partnered with NIUM, a global payment platform, to provide overseas remittance services to users, who can transfer money directly through Travelex International 24/7. International money transfers through Travelex usually take 1-2 business days before the funds are available to the recipient, and Travelex has partnered with Western Union to offer investors the ability to send money overseas from the store without creating an account, in cash or EFTPOS, and from Travelex stores, avaialble in all currencies, and transfer and receive funds in few minutes.
