General Information & Regulation
AsiaTradeFX is a Jakarta-based financial brokerage firm founded in 2004, offering foreign exchange, commodities, and index futures products to investors, and is a member of the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), the Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, and the Indonesia Clearing House. AsiaTradeFX is currently regulated by the Indonesian BAPPEBTI and holds a retail forex license licensed by them under regulatory number: 873/BAPPEBTI/SI/1/2006.
Market Instruments
Tradable financial instruments offered by AsiaTradeFX include Forex currency pairs, gold, silver, oil, and multilateral commodities.
Minimum Deposit
AsiaTradeFX offers traders three types of real trading accounts: Beginner (minimum initial deposit of Rp 10 million, about $700), Premium (minimum initial deposit of Rp 50 million, about $3,500), and Platinum (minimum initial deposit of Rp 100 million, about $7,000). Objectively speaking, AsiaTradeFX sets the minimum account opening amount much higher than the industry standard (usually $100 to $200 for standard accounts), so investors should invest with caution. In addition, AsiaTradeFX offers demo accounts, while SWAP-free accounts and micro-accounts are unavailable.
AsiaTradeFX Leverage
The trading leverage related information is not fully disclosed on the AsiaTradeFX website.
AsiaTradeFX Spreads
AsiaTradeFX claims to offer spreads as low as one pip on EURUSD and USDJPY, which is objectively more in line with industry standards, but the spreads are not that competitive.
AsiaTradeFX Trading Platforms
AsiaTradeFX offers traders the ATPF TRADER 4, with desktop and mobile versions, as well as the jafets-Colt platform used by the Jakarta Futures Exchange and the J-Trader platform used by the Indonesian Derivatives and Commodities Exchange, rather than the MT4/MT5 trading platforms that are currently super popular.
Deposit & Withdrawal
Traders can deposit and withdraw funds from their accounts through any local Indonesian bank. For traders who have a “Client Area”, they can do so by selecting “Withdrawal” in the Client Area. For those who do not have a Client Area, they can do so by sending a withdrawal slip to the company by sending a flyer.
Customer Support
AsiaTradeFX customer support can be aviailable through email, telephone and live chat. Disappointingly, AsiaTradeFX website is only available in Indonesian.
