      Quantile Technologies Appoints Two New Senior Product Managers

      Esben Urbak and Rami Atieh both come with trading backgrounds

      Quantile Technologies (Quantile), a provider of portfolio optimizations services for the worldwide financial services market, is strengthening its product team with additional hires. On December 1, the London-based fintech firm announced the appointments of Esben Urbak and Rami Atieh as its senior product managers.

      While Rami joined Quantile in November, Esben joined the firm in March. Both Rami and Esben come from trading backgrounds and have joined Quantiles management team to bring innovation and sights into new product development, with the aim of eliminating risks and reducing funding requirements in the derivatives markets.

      Esben comes with nine years of work experience, having worked at MUFG Securities, where he was in charge of managing the major exotics portfolio and performing all structured interest rate deals with clients around the world. He gained valuable experience while working at MUFG Securities, in trading, pricing, and hedging highly exotic derivatives within interest rates and FX and also developing sophisticated trading and hedging strategies.

      Rami also joins Quantile with eight years‘ experience, having worked at Credit Agricole CIB, where he carried out vital job functions like growing the bank’s US Franchise, pricing, trading, and managing Vanulla, exotic and structured products and developing risk management tools. In the past, Rami also worked in France, as a Quantitative Developer at Lunalogic Group, and also spent time in development and structuring roles at Societe Generale and HSBC.

      In their new positions, both Esben and Rami will be in charge of the growth and development of the Quantile Technologies‘ market compression and optimization services. They will be responsible for taking the strategic lead in creating and delivering products and services across the firm’s entire portfolio.

      Both Esben and Rami will be reporting to Varqa Abyaneh, Quantile Technologies the Chief Product Officer who talked about the development and said: “We are delighted to welcome Esben and Rami to Quantile. We continually look to innovate and enhance our optimisation services to reduce risk and the costs associated with trading, keeping ahead of changes in regulation and trading activity. FX and interest rates are key asset classes for Quantile, and we look forward to the expertise Esben and Rami will bring as we expand our product suite and enhance our established optimisation services.”
