📊 Gold / FX / Oil / AI Stocks Weekly Outlook
Your Daily Trader Companion
Markets started September cautiously as stronger U.S. jobs data lifted Treasury yields and revived Fed rate-hike expectations. Traders now turn to a major inflation week.
🥇 Gold / XAUUSD
Gold pulled back around 1.2% on Friday near $4,419 as stronger jobs data supported yields and the dollar. CPI and PPI may decide whether Gold pressure continues or safe-haven demand returns.
🛢️ Oil
Brent traded near $96–97 and WTI around $92 as U.S.-Iran tensions kept Hormuz-related supply risk in focus.
💵 FX
The dollar stayed broadly weak despite higher rate-hike odds, while EUR/USD remains sensitive to CPI and the ECB decision. JPY strengthened as BOJ expectations and carry-trade risk stayed in focus.
📈 Indices
Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended Friday lower after the strong jobs report. Growth stocks may stay sensitive to yields and inflation surprises.
🤖 AI Stocks / Semiconductors
Broadcom raised its longer-term AI chip outlook, reinforcing the AI infrastructure theme beyond Nvidia.
