Logistics fintech company Mudflap has acquired AI-powered capacity management platform Parade, aiming to expand its role in the digital freight ecosystem. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to FreightWaves.
Mudflap, known for its fuel-discount network serving more than 515,000 drivers, plans to combine its fintech fuel services with Parade‘s AI-driven freight capacity technology. Parade’s platform helps freight brokers and logistics providers match shipments with carriers more efficiently and has facilitated over $40 billion in freight transactions.
The acquisition could allow Mudflap to integrate fuel savings, load matching, and logistics data into a single digital platform for carriers, fleets, and brokers. Industry analysts say the move reflects a broader trend toward AI-powered logistics platforms designed to improve supply chain efficiency.
As digital transformation accelerates in freight and trucking, the combined platform could help reduce empty miles, improve carrier relationships, and streamline operations across the logistics sector.
