VEO Invest was founded in 1995 by a Russian who, a year later, joined forces with other financial individuals to create Otkritie, a retail brokerage firm. In 2007, Otkritie Capital established an independent investment banking and brokerage division with offices in Moscow, London, and New York to provide advisory services to corporate and institutional clients.
