Dezember 2023 um 14:49 Uhr stoppte der Markt bei 71,95. obwohl der Markt an anderen Orten um 04.00 Uhr mit einem Preis von 71,21 schloss. obwohl in der E-Mail von DCFX und im Antrag wurde angekündigt, dass WTI den Handel am 30. Dezember um 02:45 Uhr schließen würde. Am 2. Januar 2024 um 01:00 Uhr öffnete sich der Markt plötzlich und der Preis sprang kurzzeitig in die Höhe, eröffnete bei 71,68 und stieg schnell auf 72,16
