DangerHong Kong

Purpose

The foreign exchange market in Hong Kong, China is a mature and internationalized forex market that developed in the 1970s. As one of the world's important offshore financial centers, it relies on free capital flow mechanisms, a sound regulatory system, and an internationally aligned financial services network, bringing together a large number of licensed and various financial dealers from home and abroad, and is a core hub for forex trading in the Asia-Pacific region. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, we traveled to Hong Kong, China for an on-site visit.

Process

In this issue, the visiting team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker LUKFOOK FINANCIAL. According to public information, its office address is room 2305, world wide house, 19 des voeux road, central, hong kong.

A professional and experienced visit team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, according to a well-planned schedule, went to Hong Kong, China. Conducted an on-site verification of the trader LUKFOOK FINANCIAL claiming to be located at room 2305, world wide house, 19 des voeux road, central, hong kong.

The visit team successfully arrived at World Wide House, which is located in the core financial district of Central, surrounded by contiguous Grade A office buildings and financial services institutions, with a very strong commercial atmosphere.

A complete panorama of the building was taken from the outside, but no company sign or related promotional information with the words LUKFOOK FINANCIAL was found on the exterior of the entire building.

The visit team entered the ground floor lobby of the building and stated their purpose to the security guard. After a simple information registration and communication, they successfully obtained permission to enter the building's floors.

After arriving at the target floor, the 23rd floor, the visit team checked all the company directory signs on the floor one by one, and found no signs related to LUKFOOK FINANCIAL's office area at all, nor any indication that Room 2305 belongs to the trader.

After asking the floor cleaning staff, it was confirmed that Room 2305 is currently occupied by another unrelated company. Since the office area is an independent non-shared office space, entry without an appointment is not possible. Throughout the process, there was no opportunity to photograph the trader's reception desk and reception LOGO, and this is not a shared office.

Through the glass door of Room 2305, it could be seen that there were people working normally inside, but it was completely not LUKFOOK FINANCIAL's business scene. The overall situation completely does not match the office address location publicly claimed by the trader.

Therefore, after the on-site visit, it is confirmed that the trader LUKFOOK FINANCIAL does not exist at the above publicly stated address.

Conclusion

The visiting personnel went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker LUKFOOK FINANCIAL. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see any relevant information such as the broker's company name, and after asking the building security, they also received a reply that there was no such company in the building. It was determined that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make a choice after comprehensive consideration.
