General Information & Regulation
Flatex is a leading German online broker as well as financial investment firm. Originally founded in 1999 as PRE.IPO AG, but was renamed Flatex in 2006. Flatex AG is publicly traded on the Stuggart exchange. Flatex AG deals in securities, credit services, brokerage as well as banking services. Flatex mainly accept clients from the EU zone. Clients from the USA and many other countries are not accepted. Flatex is not subject to any regulation.

Financial instruments are available for trading online with Flatex include: Over 70 Forex currency pairs including minor, major and exotic FX crosses, 22 Indices, Over 2,000 Stock CFDs from different exchanges, 3 Commodities, Over 60 Mutual Funds
860 ETFs, Bonds, Warrant, Turbo.
Minimum Deposit
In terms of minimum initial deposit, Flatex requires only 1$ to open a real trading account. Although this requirement is pretty reasonable, traders are not advised to register accounts here given the fact that Flatex is an unregulated broker.
Leverage
The maximum trading leverage offered by Flatex is capped at 1:30 for retail traders, which is in accordance with the EU regulation. While for professional traders, they may apply for high leverage level.
Spreads & Commissions
Flatex provides services to individuals, joint accounts and corporate accounts. Flatex charges commissions on most trades. The amount charged depends on the asset traded.
Trading Platform
Trading platform offered by Flatex include Flatex WebFiliable, Flatex Trader 2.0,CFD2GO app, as well as Guidants Platform. Flatex WebFiliable is a forex and CFD trading platform developed by Flatex. It is web based and therefore runs on every operating system provided that it has a web browser installed. It requires no additional software downloads or installations. It is also available as Android and iOS apps.
Trading Tools
Apart from some trading platform, Flatex offers some trading tools for traders to use, including Flatex Morning News, Flex Credits & Lombard Loan, SMS Alerts, Wikifolio.
Deposit& Withdrawal
In terms of payment methods available, Bank Wire Transfer is the only method available to Flatex clients for both deposits and withdrawals. Generally, it takes between 3 to 7 bank working days for the whole process to complete. Payments are accepted in EUR currency.
