Process

This time, the fact-finding team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct a physical visit to forex broker FIRST. According to public information, its office address is FLAT/RM B 5/F GAYLORD COMMERCIAL BUILDING 114 - 118 LOCKHART ROAD HONG KONG. The professional and experienced team, with a sense of mission to strictly screen for investors, followed a careful plan and went to Hong Kong, China. Based on the above information, they conducted a physical visit to broker FIRST.

The team went to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the broker FIRST claiming to be located at that address. They arrived smoothly at the Gaylord Commercial Building, which is located at 114-118 Lockhart Road. The surrounding streets have a strong commercial atmosphere, with heavy foot traffic and various shops. However, no company signage or relevant information of FIRST was found outside the building.

The team entered the lobby on the ground floor of the building, stated their purpose to the security guard, and after a brief conversation, obtained permission to enter.

After arriving at the target floor, the 5th floor, it was found that the office area of FIRST had no obvious signage and no security measures were in place. When inquiring with the security guard about this company, they were told that the company does not exist. Because of this situation, the team was unable to enter the interior and could not photograph the reception desk or its logo, and the office was not a shared office. Through the corridor, since entry was not possible, the internal environment of the company could not be observed. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the address was correct, but no information about this broker was found, so it was determined to be false. Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that broker FIRST does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises.
