Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is a regional core forex trading market that has developed gradually over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's advantageous position as the Middle East's financial hub, it has attracted a large number of forex brokers from around the world. The region has high trading activity and a gradually improving regulatory system, making it the core hub for forex investment in the Middle East. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, we went to Dubai, UAE for an on-the-ground visit.

Process

This visiting team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker PrimeCap Fx. According to public information, its office address is 410, Atrium Center 124, Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A professional and experienced inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Dubai, UAE according to a well-planned itinerary to conduct an on-site verification of the trader PrimeCap Fx, claimed to be located in Room 410.

The inspection team arrived smoothly at the target building, which is located in a bustling area of Dubai with well-developed surrounding commercial facilities, sufficient pedestrian flow, and a strong business atmosphere. The entire building is a quality office building. From the outside, it features a regular facade design with clear signage, and the full view of the building is visible. No company logo or related information bearing the name PrimeCap Fx was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspectors entered the lobby on the first floor of the building and indicated the purpose of their visit to the on-site staff. After a brief registration and communication, they were granted permission to enter the lobby. After a careful inspection of the lobby, they found that there was no complete tenant directory on the first floor, so no registration record corresponding to PrimeCap Fx could be found from the publicly displayed information in the lobby.

The inspectors then attempted to go to the target floor, the 4th floor, to confirm the specific location, but were unable to successfully reach the target floor. Throughout the process, no office area of PrimeCap Fx was found, nor were there any prominent signs bearing the company name or security measures. Because no prior visit appointment had been made with the corresponding enterprise, the inspectors were completely unable to enter the relevant office area. They had no opportunity to photograph the front desk or its logo, and also confirmed that the trader did not have a shared office at this location.

The inspectors were unable to observe the company's internal environment through any channel and had no opportunity to access the company's office area, making it impossible to determine its interior decoration style, staff activity, or similar conditions. This actual state is completely inconsistent with the business positioning the trader publicly claims.

Therefore, after the inspection, it was confirmed that the trader PrimeCap Fx does not exist at the publicly stated address above.

Conclusion

The inspection team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit of the forex broker PrimeCap Fx. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the broker's company name or any related information, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors should make their decision after comprehensive consideration.
