GSTrade Hong Kong Verified: No Physical Presence Found
DangerHong Kong

Purpose

Hong Kong, China's forex market is a mature offshore forex market that developed in the 1970s. As one of the world's important financial hubs, it has a free capital flow mechanism, a sound regulatory system and highly internationalized market participants, and is a core gathering place for forex trading in the Asia-Pacific region. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex brokers in the region, we traveled to Hong Kong, China for an on-site visit.

Process

In this visit, according to plan, we traveled to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker GSTrade. According to public information, its office address is 16/f, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced visit team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, went to Hong Kong, China according to a thorough plan. They conducted on-site verification of forex broker GSTrade, which claims to be located at 16/f, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong.

The visitors successfully arrived at the World Trust Tower. The location is in the core area of Central, surrounded by a strong commercial atmosphere, and is a traditional business gathering area in Hong Kong. No company signage or information related to GSTrade was found on the exterior of the building. The building's overall condition is intact, and it is a standard Grade-A commercial office building.

The visitors entered the building lobby, explained their purpose to the security guard, and after a simple registration, successfully obtained permission to enter and were able to freely go to the corresponding floor.

After arriving at the target floor, the 16th floor, the visitors did not find any obvious signage related to GSTrade's office area, nor any corresponding security measures. Because all office areas on that floor were marked with other companies' names, no office space was reserved for GSTrade, and it was impossible to enter the corresponding company's premises. Throughout the process, no scene was found where GSTrade's reception desk and reception LOGO could be photographed, and the premises are not a shared office.

The visitors repeatedly checked the public areas of the floor and found no signage bearing the words GSTrade or any related office traces. When they wanted to further verify the internal environment, the floor management staff told them that the company did not exist on that floor, and they could not enter the corresponding area to view the internal situation. The overall scene is completely inconsistent with the broker's claim that it operates an office here.

Therefore, after the visit, it was confirmed that forex broker GSTrade does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The visitors went to Hong Kong, China according to plan to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker GSTrade. At the publicly displayed business address, they failed to see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. During the visit, it was confirmed that the address itself really exists, but no information about the broker was found throughout the process. After asking the security guard, they were also told that the company was not in the building. It is judged that the office address marked by the broker is a false address. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
