Purpose

The Hong Kong foreign exchange market is an international foreign exchange market developed in the 1970s. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange dealers in the region, the survey team went to Hong Kong for an on-site visit.

Process

This time, the on-site survey team went to Hong Kong, China, as planned to visit forex broker Quyen. According to public information, its office address is UNIT NO.A222, 3F, HANG FUNG INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, PHASE2, NO.2G HOK YUEN STREET, HUNGHOM HK.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors, went to Hong Kong, China according to a careful plan. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Quyen claiming to be located at the aforementioned address.

The inspectors arrived smoothly at the target building, which is HANG FUNG INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, located at NO.2G HOK YUEN STREET, HUNGHOM HK. No obvious features related to a corporate park environment were found on the surrounding streets. No signage or relevant information of the broker was found outside the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security guard. After a brief communication, they obtained permission to enter the building. However, no directory listing for the broker Quyen was found inside the building, nor was any related logo seen.

After arriving at the target floor, the 3rd floor, the inspectors were able to confirm the specific location A222, but found that the office area had no obvious signage regarding Quyen and no special security measures. Since they were informed upon inquiry that this company does not exist at all, the inspectors could not enter the interior, and naturally could not photograph the front desk or its logo. Moreover, the office area was not a shared office.

It was also impossible to observe the internal situation through the glass door because the security guard stated that this company does not exist. The overall situation does not match its publicly claimed positioning.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Quyen does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The surveyors went to Hong Kong, China as planned to visit the forex broker Quyen, but did not see the company name or other information of the broker at its publicly displayed business address, indicating that the broker does not have a real business site. Investors should make their decisions after comprehensive consideration.
