Purpose

The Hong Kong, China foreign exchange market is a core offshore foreign exchange market in the Asia-Pacific region that developed in the 1970s. As one of the world's important financial hubs, it has the characteristics of a mature regulatory system, a high degree of freedom for cross-border capital flows, and leading trading activity, and gathers a large number of licensed and various types of foreign exchange dealer entities. In order to help investors more comprehensively identify the actual operating conditions of foreign exchange dealers in the region, we went to Hong Kong, China for an on-site visit.

Process

In this visit, as planned, we traveled to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Huarong. According to public information, its office address is Room 1703-04, 17th Floor, YF Life Centre, 38 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, with a sense of mission to rigorously vet on behalf of investors, traveled to Hong Kong, China according to a meticulous plan. They conducted an on-site verification of broker Huarong, which claims to be located at Rooms 1703-04, 17th Floor, YF Life Centre, 38 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

We successfully arrived at the YF Life Centre building. The location is in the core financial district of Wan Chai, with complete surrounding commercial facilities, very convenient transportation, and a strong commercial atmosphere.

After repeatedly inspecting the entire exterior of the building, we found absolutely no company signage or related information bearing the words Huarong, and there were no premises-related signs corresponding to the broker on the surrounding streets.

We entered the ground-floor lobby of the building and stated our purpose to the security guard. After a brief conversation and registration, we successfully obtained entry permission and were allowed to go freely to the target floor.

After arriving at the target floor, the 17th floor, we walked through the entire floor area and found no obvious signage related to Huarong's office area at all. The floor directory board in the building also did not indicate any information related to this broker.

Because the corresponding company entrance was not found, it was impossible to enter the interior. Throughout the whole process, there were no conditions under which the front desk and the front desk logo can be photographed. The location is not a shared office either.

Attempting to ask other office personnel on the floor also yielded no relevant clues. Rooms 1703 to 04 corresponding to this address are used by other enterprises; there are absolutely no Huarong-related office traces, nor is it possible to observe the so-called internal environment of Huarong. The overall situation is completely inconsistent with its claimed positioning of conducting business at this location.

Therefore, after an on-site visit, it is confirmed that broker Huarong does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

As planned, we went to Hong Kong, China, to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Huarong. At its publicly displayed business address, we were unable to see the company name of the broker or any other relevant information. After inquiring with the building security, we were also told that this company had never been at this address, and it was determined that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
