Purpose

The UAE forex market is an emerging regional forex market that has developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantage as a financial hub in the Middle East, it has attracted a large number of forex brokers from around the world and serves cross-border financial trading demand across the entire Middle East and North Africa region. It features high market openness and strong cross-border business activity. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the field inspection team traveled to the UAE for on-site visits.

Process

In this issue, the field inspection team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker JRG. According to public information, its office address is Office 1212, Goldcrest Executive Cluster C, Near DMCC Metro Station, JLT, Dubai, UAE.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, and according to a meticulous plan, went to the United Arab Emirates. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker JRG, which claims to be located at Office 1212, Goldcrest Executive Cluster C, Near DMCC Metro Station, JLT, Dubai, UAE.

The team successfully arrived at the Goldcrest Executive building. This location is in Dubai's core business district, adjacent to the DMCC Metro Station, with complete surrounding facilities. It is a luxury building in the business district, with a clean and bustling overall environment and a very strong commercial atmosphere.

No signage information related to the broker JRG was found outside the building.

The team entered the ground floor lobby of the building and stated their purpose to the staff. After information registration and communication, they successfully obtained permission to enter the lobby and were able to fully view the relevant public information in the lobby.

On the floor guide board in the lobby, the team checked all the directories of the tenant companies one by one, but did not find any company sign with the name JRG. The corresponding tenant company marked on the board is completely not the same entity as the target broker.

Due to the building's security management requirements, without an advance appointment with the corresponding tenant company, they could not obtain permission to go upstairs and could not reach the specific location on the 12th floor for further verification. Throughout the process, there was no opportunity to photograph the front desk of the corresponding company or its front desk LOGO. This address also does not fall under the category of a shared office.

Because they could not go upstairs or access the corresponding office area, the team had no opportunity to observe the internal environment of the so-called JRG company, nor could they confirm the actual situation of its office space. The actual state of this location is completely inconsistent with the business address information publicly disclosed by the broker.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it is confirmed that the broker JRG does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The field inspection personnel went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker JRG. At the business address publicly displayed by the broker, they were unable to see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine place of business. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
