It is a core position for many forex brokers to expand their Asia-Pacific business. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex brokers in the region, the field inspection team traveled to Hong Kong, China, for an on-site visit.

Process

In this issue, the field inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Velos Technology, according to public information, its office address is Unit 10 9/f w212 212 Texaco Road Tsuen Wan New Territories Hong Kong.

The professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard the interests of investors, proceeded to the target area in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong, China in accordance with a meticulous plan.

They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Velos Technology, which claims to be located at Unit 10 9/f w212 212 Texaco Road Tsuen Wan New Territories Hong Kong.

Successfully arrived at the target building. The location is in a core industrial cluster section of Tsuen Wan. In the surrounding street environment, no signage information related to the broker was found, and there were no supporting facilities for a corresponding company campus. The overall street commercial atmosphere is inclined toward traditional industrial and trading characteristics.

Outside the building, no company signage or related promotional information bearing the characters Velos Technology was found at all.

After entering the ground-floor lobby of the building, we stated our purpose to the security guard. After a simple identity registration, we successfully obtained permission to enter the building.

After arriving at the target 9th floor, we carried out a floor-by-floor inspection in the corresponding area. We found no office area signage for Velos Technology at all, and no relevant information about the company could be found in the directory of all tenant businesses on the floor. Because no corresponding office location of the company was found throughout the process, we could neither photograph the reception desk or its LOGO, and it was also confirmed that the address does not have any shared office-related layout.

Looking through the corridor of the floor's public area, no corresponding office space for Velos Technology was found throughout. It was completely impossible to access the so-called internal environment of the company, nor were we allowed to enter any non-tenant-occupied space that is not a public area. The overall situation is completely inconsistent with the broker's claim that it has established an office here.

After arrival, it was confirmed to be the complete publicly stated address, but no information about the broker was found throughout. After asking the security guard, we were told that a company named Velos Technology had never been a tenant in the building. Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Velos Technology does not exist at the above publicly stated address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker Velos Technology. At the business address publicly displayed by the broker, no company name or any related information of the broker could be seen at all, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
