Purpose

It has distinctive features such as high trading activity, a sound regulatory system, and convenient international capital flows, and is one of the core gathering places for forex trading in the Asia-Pacific region. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the real operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, the on-site survey team traveled to Hong Kong, China to conduct on-site visits.

Process

In this edition, the field inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker RainmakerPrime. According to public information, its office address is RM 3, UNIT C, 20/F, GLEE INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, 77-81 CHAI WAN KOK ST, TSUEN WAN NT.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, went to Hong Kong, China, according to a well-planned schedule. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker RainmakerPrime claiming to be located at RM 3, UNIT C, 20/F, GLEE INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, 77-81 CHAI WAN KOK ST, TSUEN WAN NT.

The team successfully arrived at GLEE INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, which is located at 77-81 Chai Wan Kok Street, Tsuen Wan, New Territories. The surrounding area is a mature industrial building cluster, and there is no signage related to the broker in the street environment. No traces belonging to RainmakerPrime were found throughout the process. The team took a complete panoramic photo of the building, and no company signage or related promotional information of RainmakerPrime was found on the exterior of the building.

The team entered the ground floor lobby of the building, stated their purpose to the security guard, and successfully obtained entry permission after the normal visitor registration process.

After arriving at the target floor, the 20th floor, the team found that there was no obvious signage of RainmakerPrime's office area on the entire floor. The floor directory in the building did not indicate any name information related to the broker, and the premises were not a shared office.

Since no registration or move-in information of the company was found, it was impossible to enter the company's interior, and it was completely impossible to photograph the front desk and the front desk LOGO, nor to enter the interior to inspect the office environment.

Observing through the public area of the floor, the team could not obtain any content related to the internal environment of the broker. There were absolutely no operational traces corresponding to RainmakerPrime at this address, which completely did not match the office positioning claimed by the broker.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker RainmakerPrime does not exist at the above address. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that it was the address, but no information about the broker was found. When asked, the security guard said that there was no such company, and it was judged to be false.

Conclusion

As planned, field inspection personnel went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker RainmakerPrime. At the business address it publicly displays, they were unable to see information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
