Process

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker COVEY in Hong Kong, China as planned. According to publicly available information, its office address is exchange Square Two 8 Connaught Place, Central.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously vet for investors, followed a meticulously planned itinerary and traveled to Hong Kong, China, to conduct an on-site verification of the broker COVEY that claims to be located at Exchange Square Two, 8 Connaught Place, Central.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at Exchange Square Two, which is located in Central, Hong Kong, China, surrounded by a bustling environment with a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no company signage or related information for COVEY was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspection personnel entered the lobby of the building, explained their purpose to the security guard, and after communication, obtained permission to enter. Inside the building, no directory board for this company was found.

However, upon reaching the target floor, no clear signage for the office area of COVEY was discovered. Since access to the upper floors required swiping an elevator card, the inspection personnel could not enter the interior, could not photograph the reception area and its logo, and furthermore, this office was not a shared workspace.

Through the public area, due to the inability to enter, the inspection personnel could not observe the internal environment of the company, and overall could not confirm whether it matched its claimed positioning. No information regarding this broker was found, and the requirement to swipe an elevator card to access the upper floors raises doubts about its authenticity.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker COVEY does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site investigator went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct a field visit to the forex broker COVEY. At its publicly displayed business address, the investigator was unable to see information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises.
