Purpose

The foreign exchange market in Hong Kong, China, is a mature and internationalized forex market that developed in the 1970s. As an important global offshore financial hub, it gathers a large number of licensed and various forex trading-related institutions. With a high degree of market openness and strong cross-border trading activity, it is one of the core centers for forex business in the Asia-Pacific region. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, we conducted an on-site visit to Hong Kong, China.

Process

In this visit, we went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Starefix. According to public information, its office address is 35th Floor, Block D, TML Tower, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced visit team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Hong Kong, China, according to a well-thought-out plan. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Starefix, which claims to be located at 35/F, Tower D, TML Tower, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.

The team successfully arrived at Tower D of TML Tower. The location is in the core commercial district of Tsuen Wan, with convenient transportation nearby, numerous commercial buildings, and a strong business atmosphere. We also took complete panoramic photos of the building.

During a full search outside the building, no company signage or related promotional information bearing the name Starefix was found.

The team entered the building lobby, explained the purpose of their visit to the security guard, and after a simple information registration, successfully obtained permission to enter the building.

After arriving at the target floor, the 35th Floor, the team walked through the entire public area of the floor and found no office area signage for Starefix at all. The floor directory signs in the building also did not list any relevant information about the company.

Because we had not made an appointment in advance and could not find the entrance of the corresponding company on the entire floor, we were unable to enter any office area marked as Starefix. Throughout the process, we did not find the broker's reception desk, and naturally could not photograph the reception desk or its LOGO. The premises are also not a shared office.

We checked multiple times in the public areas of the floor. All office entrances were marked with the names of other companies, and we could not find any office traces related to Starefix at all. We were also completely unable to enter the so-called Starefix to inspect the environment. The overall scene was completely inconsistent with the broker's claim of having an office here.

Therefore, after the on-site visit, it was confirmed that the broker Starefix does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

As planned, the team went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit of forex broker Starefix. At the publicly listed business address, no information such as the broker's company name could be seen. After asking the security guard, they also received the reply that the company was not in the building, and judged that the broker does not have real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
