DBG Markets | Women’s Day Special Talk Show – The Effort Behind Excellence

On March 8, International Womens Day, the DBG Markets Vietnam team hosted a warm and inspiring talk show with the participation of more than 70 members. The event was not only a tribute to women, but also a celebration of perseverance, courage, and passion.

The program began with heartfelt greetings to all women present, followed by a short film highlighting the remarkable career of former Vietnamese volleyball star and beauty queen, Ms. Kim Huệ.

Early Career and Achievements

Ms. Kim Huệ shared how she joined the Army Volleyball Team at the age of 14. Discipline and passion, she emphasized, were the values that carried her through the demanding training. She also recounted becoming the youngest captain in Vietnams history, encouraging DBG Markets members to understand that success is not defined by age but by continuous learning, humility, and persistence.

Injury and Challenges

At the peak of her career, Ms. Kim Huệ suffered a serious injury that forced her to undergo surgery and temporarily retire. Yet after becoming a mother, her passion reignited. With determination, she returned to the court, helped her club win the national championship, and became the female volleyball player with the most appearances for Vietnams national team. Her message to members: never give up—glory will return to those who keep their passion alive.
