Purpose

The foreign exchange market of Hong Kong, China is a mature and internationalized foreign exchange market that developed in the 1970s. As an important global offshore financial hub, it brings together a large number of licensed and various types of foreign exchange dealers, with a high degree of market openness and strong trading activity, but at the same time there are also irregularities in which the publicly disclosed addresses of some dealers do not match their actual operating locations. In order to help investors or practitioners more comprehensively understand the real operating conditions of foreign exchange dealers in the region, we went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit.

Process

In this issue, as planned, we went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker FULIXIN. According to publicly available information, its office address is Suite 1406, 14/F, Great Eagle Centre, 23 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced team, with a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors, traveled to Hong Kong, China according to a meticulous plan. They conducted on-site verification of the broker FULIXIN claiming to be located at the above address.

We successfully arrived at Great Eagle Centre, which is located in the core business area of Harbour Road in Wan Chai, adjacent to the Victoria Harbour coastline, surrounded by dense clusters of office buildings and a very strong commercial atmosphere.

We took a panoramic photo of the building and repeatedly checked the exterior of the building, but did not find any company signage or related information bearing the words FULIXIN.

We entered the ground-floor lobby of the building, explained our purpose to the security guard, and after a simple registration, successfully obtained permission to enter.

After arriving at the target floor, the 14th floor, we inspected the office areas of the entire floor area by area, and found no obvious signage or related traces in FULIXIN's office area. Since we did not find any public information about the corresponding company throughout the process, and had not made an appointment with the company in advance, we could not enter the corresponding room. Throughout the process, we did not find any relevant scene where the front desk and front desk logo could be photographed, and the address is not a shared office.

We compared the door numbers in the public areas of the floor and confirmed that the location of Suite 1406 does indeed exist, but the operating entity in that space has no connection with FULIXIN, and no internal office environment, decoration style, or employee activity traces belonging to FULIXIN can be seen at all. The overall situation completely does not match the positioning claimed by the broker of operating here.

We specifically asked the building security whether the company FULIXIN is in the building, and the security guard clearly stated that there is no such company in the building. Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it is confirmed that the broker FULIXIN does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

We went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker FULIXIN. At the business address it publicly displays, we were unable to see information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
