Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging international financial forex market that has developed rapidly over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantage as the financial hub of the Middle East, it has attracted a large number of forex dealers from around the world, serving as a core forex trading hub radiating to West Asia and North Africa. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex dealers in the region, we conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

As planned, this visit went to the UAE to conduct an on-site inspection of the forex broker THARWA INVESTMENT. According to public information, its office address is 37th floor (Parcel No. 346-6876), U-BORA Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The professional and experienced inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, traveled to the UAE according to a well-planned schedule to conduct an on-site verification of the broker THARWA INVESTMENT claiming to be located at the above address.

We successfully arrived at the target U-BORA Building, located in the core business district of downtown Dubai. It is a well-known ultra-luxury office building in the area, with a strong commercial atmosphere and a dense concentration of high-end commercial and financial institutions around it.

No signage or promotional information related to THARWA INVESTMENT was found anywhere on the exterior of the building.

We entered the ground-floor lobby of the building and, after explaining the purpose of our visit to the front desk staff, a brief communication confirmed that without a prior appointment, we could not obtain permission to enter the office areas upstairs.

The target floor was the 37th floor, but due to access restrictions, we were unable to reach that floor or locate the office area of THARWA INVESTMENT. Throughout the visit, no obvious company signage was found. The building had no complete company directory board, and no information about THARWA INVESTMENT was listed on it.

Because security was strict and we had not made an appointment, we were unable to enter the office areas upstairs and had no opportunity to take photos of the front desk or its logo. This location is not a shared office space.

Since we were not granted access to the office area, we were unable to observe details such as the internal office environment, decoration style, and staff activities, nor could we verify whether its claimed office positioning was true.

Therefore, after the site visit, it was confirmed that the broker THARWA INVESTMENT does not exist at the above publicly stated address.

Conclusion

We traveled to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker THARWA INVESTMENT. At its publicly displayed business address, we could not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a real place of business. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
