Purpose

The UAE forex market is an emerging regional international forex trading market developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantage as the Middle East financial hub, it has attracted a large number of forex brokers from around the world, serving as a core transit node connecting forex trading businesses across Europe, Asia, and Africa. With a well-established market regulatory system and high cross-border trading activity, it occupies a very special position in the global forex landscape. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, the site inspection team conducted an on-the-ground visit to the UAE.

Process

In this issue, the on-site inspection team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker SATOSHI DMCC. According to public information, its office address is Unit No. 3052, DMCC Business Centre Level No 1, Jewellery & Gemplex 3 Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A professional and experienced on-site verification team, carrying a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, traveled to the United Arab Emirates following meticulous planning. Based on the above information, an on-site visit was conducted on broker SATOSHI DMCC.

The target area of this visit was the Jewellery & Gemplex 3 complex under Dubai DMCC. We conducted an on-site check on the broker SATOSHI DMCC claimed to be located at this address.

After arriving smoothly at the target complex, it could be observed that the complex sits in a district on the edge of Dubai's commercial area, away from the core bustling streets. The entire complex covers a very large area, with multiple independent commercial buildings distributed inside. We captured complete photos of the complex's overview signboard and found no signage information related to SATOSHI DMCC throughout the process.

Subsequently, we entered the lobby of the target building and stated to the on-site security guard the purpose of our visit to SATOSHI DMCC. After basic information registration and communication, we successfully obtained permission to enter the lobby. However, because we had not made an appointment with the company in advance, the security guard explicitly informed us that visitors were not allowed to go upstairs to the target floor on their own. Throughout the process, we were unable to confirm the specific location of Unit 3052 at this address, nor did we find any company nameplate bearing the name of SATOSHI DMCC anywhere inside the building. The company's brand logo did not appear anywhere inside or outside the building.

In the end, we were also unable to enter the company's interior, and throughout the process there was no way to photograph the company's front desk or its front desk logo. Nor does this address belong to a shared office. Since we could not go upstairs, we had no opportunity at all to observe the company's internal environment, and naturally had no way to assess its internal layout, staff situation, and other matters. This completely contradicts the broker's claim of establishing an office at this location.

Therefore, after on-site verification, it was confirmed that broker SATOSHI DMCC does not exist at the publicly stated address above.

Conclusion

The site inspection personnel went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker SATOSHI DMCC in person. At its publicly displayed business address, they did not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a real place of business. Investors are advised to make their choices after careful consideration.
