Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is a core offshore forex trading market in the Middle East that has gradually developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantages as a global financial hub, it has gathered a large number of licensed and emerging forex brokers, radiating cross-border trading demand across the Middle East and North Africa. To help investors more comprehensively assess the actual operating conditions of forex brokers in the region, our on-the-ground inspection team went to Dubai, UAE, for a field visit.

Process

In this issue, the survey team traveled to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker EDGE GOLD. According to public information, its office address is 404, DUBAI DIAMOND CENTER - DEIRA GOLD SOUQ.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by the mission of safeguarding investors, traveled to Dubai, UAE according to a well-planned itinerary to conduct an on-site verification of the broker EDGE GOLD, which claims to be located at 404, DUBAI DIAMOND CENTER - DEIRA GOLD SOUQ.

The team arrived smoothly at the target building, which is located around the Deira Gold Souq, the traditional gold trading core area of Dubai. The surrounding area is densely packed with shops and has frequent pedestrian traffic, creating a strong commercial atmosphere. The team took complete panoramic photos of the building. Outside the building, no company signage or related promotional information for EDGE GOLD was found at all, and no operational traces related to EDGE GOLD existed in the claimed complex or street environment corresponding to the address.

The team successfully entered the building lobby. After stating their purpose to the security guard and staff and completing basic visitor registration, they obtained permission to access the public areas of the building. However, when checking the floor directory in the lobby and reviewing the signage information of all tenants floor by floor, no listing related to EDGE GOLD was found at all. Neither inside nor outside the building was there any exposure of the broker's logo.

While attempting to go to the target 4th floor, due to access restrictions in the floor area, the team was unable to reach the specific floor to confirm the exact location of Room 404, nor could they find the office area corresponding to EDGE GOLD. Throughout the process, no office space bearing the company's logo was found, there was no shared office arrangement, and it was completely impossible to photograph the company's front desk or its front desk logo.

Throughout the process, the team was unable to access the company's internal space at all and was entirely denied entry to the internal areas. No content related to the company's internal environment, decoration style, or employee activities could be observed, which is completely inconsistent with the broker's public claim of having a physical office at this address.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it is confirmed that the broker EDGE GOLD does not exist at the publicly marked address above.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker EDGE GOLD in the UAE as scheduled. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Please make your choice after comprehensive consideration.
