Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging regional core forex market developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's position as the Middle East's financial hub, it brings together numerous global and local brokers, catering to cross-border trading demand across the Middle East and North Africa. With a high degree of market openness and a gradually improving regulatory system, it serves as the central hub for forex trading in the region. To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex brokers in the region, the survey team conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

This inspection team traveled to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker Faststep FX. According to publicly available information, its office address is Office No. 01, 22nd Floor, Twin Tower (Rolex), Deira, Dubai, UAE.

The professional and experienced on-site inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, traveled to the UAE according to a well-planned schedule. It conducted an on-site verification of the broker Faststep FX that claims to be located at Office No. 01, 22nd Floor, Twin Tower (Rolex), Deira, Dubai, UAE.

The team arrived smoothly at Twin Tower (Rolex). This location is a super-luxury office building in the old city center of Dubai, with a dense concentration of commercial businesses nearby, highly active business exchanges, and an overall strong commercial atmosphere.

During a full search outside the building, no company signs or promotional information related to Faststep FX were found; only the building's exclusive nameplate for Twin Tower (Rolex) could be seen.

The team entered the lobby on the first floor of the building, explained their purpose to the security staff, and after completing routine visitor registration, obtained permission to enter the public areas of the building. On the first floor, there was a complete floor directory board. The team checked every tenant name listed on the directory one by one and found no mention of Faststep FX at all, nor any company information corresponding to Office 01 on the 22nd floor.

During the subsequent attempt to go to the target 22nd floor, due to floor access restrictions, the team was unable to reach that specific floor to confirm the corresponding location, nor was it able to enter the company's premises. After verification with the lobby staff, the space corresponding to Office 01 on the 22nd floor is a shared office. The team was unable to photograph the broker's reception desk or the reception desk LOGO at any point, and the space is not the exclusive independent office area of Faststep FX.

Since the team could not enter the corresponding premises, they were unable to observe the company's internal environment, decoration style, or employee activities, and were completely unable to verify whether its claimed business positioning was true.
Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that broker Faststep FX does not exist at the above-mentioned publicly marked address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker Faststep FX in the UAE as planned. At its publicly displayed business address, the company's name and other information could not be seen. The address is a shared office space, and no fixed business traces of the company could be confirmed, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors should make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
