Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging international financial forex market that has developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's strategic advantage as the Middle East's financial hub, it has attracted a large number of global and regional forex brokers, serving as a key node connecting forex trading across Europe, Asia, and Africa. To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual business operations of forex brokers in the region, the verification team conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker Match CFD, according to public information, its office address is Shaikh Zayed Road, Dubai World Trade Center 9292 Dubai UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

The professional and experienced site inspection team, bearing the mission of strictly safeguarding investors' interests, went to the UAE in accordance with meticulous planning. An on-site verification was conducted on the broker Match CFD claiming to be located at this address.

After arriving at the target location smoothly, it was found that the address corresponds to an ultra-luxury landmark exhibition hall in downtown Dubai. The surrounding area belongs to Dubai's core business belt, with a very strong commercial atmosphere. However, there is no company campus or conventional office street environment for the corresponding company in the area, and no company signage or information related to Match CFD was found outside the building. There was no way to confirm the specific location of the broker or whether the company is here. This site inspection also photographed and recorded the panoramic view of the building.

After entering the building's lobby, we stated our purpose to the on-site staff. After registering and communicating the information, we successfully obtained permission to enter the lobby. However, when we checked the company directory boards in public areas floor by floor inside the building, we never found any identification information marked with Match CFD. The company's logo did not appear inside or outside the building, and there was no way to go to the specific floor stated in the public address to confirm its location. Throughout the process, we were unable to enter the company's interior. There was no shared office situation, and we had no opportunity at all to photograph the broker's front desk or the front desk logo. The internal office area could not be inspected because entry was not possible.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that broker Match CFD does not exist at the above publicly indicated address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspectors went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker Match CFD in person. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have real business premises. Investors should make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
