Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging international financial forex market that has developed rapidly over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantage as the financial hub of the Middle East, it has attracted a large number of forex dealers from around the world, serving the trading needs of the entire MENA region. With a high degree of market openness and a gradually improving regulatory system, it is a core hub for forex trading in the region. To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex dealers in the area, the on-site inspection team went to the UAE for field visits.

Process

This issue's on-site inspection team planned to visit the forex broker FX Sign in the UAE. According to public information, its office address is Standard Chartered Tower, Level 5, No. 503, Emaar Square Downtown, Burj Khalifa, Dubai.

The professional and experienced inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors, went to the United Arab Emirates according to a well-planned itinerary to conduct an on-site verification of the broker FX Sign, which claims to be located at Standard Chartered Tower, Level 5, No. 503, Emaar Square Downtown, Burj Khalifa, Dubai.

The team successfully arrived at Standard Chartered Tower, which is located in the core business district of downtown Dubai. It is a luxury office building in the local area, surrounded by city landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, with a strong commercial atmosphere.

No company identification related to FX Sign was found outside the building; only a full panoramic view of the building's exterior was captured.

The team successfully entered the building lobby. After stating the purpose to the lobby staff and completing basic registration, they were granted access to the lobby area. However, on the floor directory board in the lobby, no company name for FX Sign was found, and no LOGO of this broker appeared either inside or outside the building.

Due to the building's strict security management, the team was unable to go to the specific location on the 5th floor for verification, let alone enter the corresponding office area. After confirmation with the lobby staff, unit 503 on that floor is a shared office space. There was no opportunity throughout the process to photograph the broker's front desk or front desk LOGO, and there is no dedicated office front desk independently set up by FX Sign.

Because they were not permitted to go upstairs, the team was completely unable to access the interior space of the unit, could not observe the so-called internal environment of FX Sign, and naturally could not verify whether its claimed office positioning is true.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker FX Sign does not exist at the publicly stated address above.

Conclusion

The field surveyors went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker FX Sign in person. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a real independent business premise. Investors should make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
