Purpose

The UAE forex market is an emerging international offshore forex trading market that has developed gradually over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's locational advantages as the Middle East's financial hub, it has attracted numerous forex brokers from around the world to set up operations, with an open regulatory environment and well-established supporting financial services, serving as a core node connecting forex trading across Europe, Asia, and Africa. To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, the site inspection team traveled to Dubai, UAE to conduct an on-site visit.

Process

In this issue, the field survey team planned to visit forex broker GBCFX in the UAE. According to public information, its office address is Suite 2515, Churchill Towers, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, with the mission of strictly safeguarding investors, went to Dubai, UAE according to a well-planned schedule. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker GBCFX, which claims to be located at Suite 2515, Churchill Towers, Business Bay, Dubai. UAE.

The team arrived smoothly at the Churchill Towers building, located in the core business district of downtown Dubai, surrounded by contiguous high-end commercial office buildings. The environment is clean and open, and it is an ultra-luxury office building in the heart of Dubai, with a strong commercial atmosphere. Throughout the exterior of the building, no signage bearing GBCFX or any related company promotional information was found.

Entering the first-floor lobby of the building, the team explained their purpose to the on-site staff. After information registration and communication, they successfully obtained permission to enter the lobby. There was no complete corporate directory board on the first floor, and security was strict, making it impossible to directly locate the target company's specific position through lobby signage.

The team attempted to proceed upward through the passage from the underground parking garage. During this process, they could only see the corresponding office in the 25th floor area from a distance. The operating entity of that office was not GBCFX, and it was completely not the same company as the target broker. Throughout the process, they were unable to reach the specific floor position on the 25th floor to confirm the corresponding room, nor did they have permission to enter the office interior. They could not photograph GBCFX's front desk and its LOGO, and the site was not a shared office space either.

Due to strict security control, the team was unable to enter the interior. Throughout the entire process, there was no opportunity to observe GBCFX's internal office environment, making it completely impossible to confirm whether its claimed office premises truly exist.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker GBCFX does not exist at the publicly stated address above.

Conclusion

As planned, we visited forex broker GBCFX on-site in the UAE. At its publicly displayed business address, we could not see the broker's company name or other related information, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine place of business. Investors are advised to consider all factors and make cautious choices.
