I was introduced to this platform by an agent (who had been recommending it). He suggested I open an account with him, saying he had $1450 in his account that could be transferred to me via a third-party transfer through the platform. I paid him $8000, and he also offered to make an exception for the large amount of commissions he owed me. I thought it was fine, and after opening the account, he transferred the money. I confirmed receipt and transferred the funds to my trading account to place the trade. Then I paid the money, but the platform rejected my withdrawal request, claiming it was a violation. If they don't allow withdrawals for violations, why did they agree to let him transfer the funds to us through a third party? Now, without my consent, they've taken all my funds. I even told the manager that $450, which they considered a violation, could be withdrawn, while the $1000 principal deposited by the agent should remain in my account. But now the platform won't process it. I feel so wronged. Where is the platform's responsibility for oversight? They failed in their oversight, and now I'm paying for it. Most importantly, the agent also emailed the platform to transfer the $1000 principal to me.
