  • What Is Regulation and What Does It Do?

Regulation places a broker within a financial system where its identity, activities, and conduct can be checked, tracked, and constrained. In forex trading, regulation cannot guarantee profits, but it can reduce the risks associated with unclear corporate entities, untraceable fund handling, and the absence of an accountable authority when problems occur.

Higher regulator grades generally indicate that authorization is harder to obtain and maintain and that the regulator is more widely recognized by international investors. The main differences include:

    1. Stricter regulatory rules: Higher-grade regulators generally require brokers to operate under clearly defined rules rather than relying only on promotional claims made on their websites.

    2. Stronger platform oversight: A broker must continue meeting regulatory requirements after obtaining a license; obtaining authorization does not mean that subsequent operations are free from oversight.

    3. Higher application requirements: Higher-grade licenses generally impose greater requirements concerning corporate qualifications, financial resources, compliance capabilities, and operations; they cannot be obtained merely by registering a company.

    4. Greater market recognition: Leading regulators are generally more widely recognized in international financial markets, so their licenses usually provide more reference value than ordinary or offshore regulation.

Therefore, checking whether AMARKETS is regulated cannot rely only on the number of licenses. The regulator grade, regulatory status, issuing authority, license number, and authorized scope must also be checked. A higher regulator grade provides stronger support for the verdict Higher Risk, while a lower grade can be used only as a basic reference.

  • How Does WikiFX Rate Regulatory Authorities?

WikiFX organizes global regulatory authorities by grade to help readers understand the relative regulatory support they may provide.

AAA: Excellent, with almost no risk and a high level of institutional creditworthiness.

AA: Very good, with limited risk and generally sound regulatory management.

A: Good, with indicators generally at a moderate level.

B: Average, offering comparatively limited investor-safety protection.

C: Weak, involving a high degree of speculation and limited additional financial protection.

--: No clear rating information is currently available, so the authority cannot be treated as strong regulatory support.

For the complete authority directory, see the WikiFX regulator list.

  • How Does WikiFX Evaluate AMARKETS?

AMARKETS has a WikiFX core score of 5.23/10. This score is generated according to unified standards by comprehensively evaluating data related to regulation, risk control, software, business operations, and licenses/reputation. The closer the score is to 10, the more sufficient the currently verifiable data is in providing overall support for the platform. Based on its highest regulator tier of B, this page classifies AMARKETS as “Higher Risk”.

WikiFX has included more than 80,000 brokers and continuously verifies public information from regulators, license records, user risk feedback, and platform data. The score is calculated based on unified rules; it is not filled in by the broker itself, nor is it derived solely from a single piece of promotional information. Therefore, it can be used as a reference for comparing brokers’ overall conditions. However, the final assessment should still be cross-checked together with regulatory licenses, field survey information, and exposure information.

User Reviews Summary

Reviewers described a mix of experiences. Some feedback mentioned smooth MT5 execution, straightforward verification, fast bank-card withdrawals, tight spreads, and a broad selection of instruments and platforms. Other comments characterized the product range and platforms as average. Several users reported concerns about deposits, withdrawals, and fees. These included a deposit that support reportedly did not trace, withdrawal delays and document requests, fees charged on withdrawals or transfers, spreads higher than advertised, platform glitches, and concerns about 1:3000 leverage and regulation. Some feedback also described cashback or loyalty bonus funds being removed after a stop loss left the balance at zero and alleged that the terms did not clearly explain this, along with a report of a 10% non-transaction fee. The information above summarizes user-submitted reviews currently collected by WikiFX. These reports have not necessarily been independently verified and should not be used alone to determine whether a broker is safe.

I deposited $90.00 (₹8,545.75)

I deposited $90.00 (₹8,545.75) into my AMarkets trading account (ID: 39*****) on 18 Oct 2026 via their F2PAY UPI gateway. The payment was fully successful from my bank (PNB) with a valid 12-digit UTR (18370720****) credited to their exact provided beneficiary (boim-7252********@boi). Despite providing my official bank statement and the UPI receipt, AMarkets support is denying the funds and refuses to manually trace the transaction with their gateway. They are blaming automated technical errors and holding my money. Be very careful depositing funds here.

Warning !! Amarkets Cashback Scam

I am writing this as a stern warning to all traders: the cashback promised by AMarkets is not a real incentive—it is a systematic trap that automatically strips clients of their rights. 🧨 Here’s What Happened to Me (Repeatedly): I received cashback (Loyalty Bonus) from AMarkets automatically credited to my account. Since my balance was empty (only the cashback remained), I used that cashback for small-volume manual trading. As soon as a position hit a small Stop Loss and the balance dropped to zero, the entire cashback was instantly wiped out by the system as a “Bonus Out.” This happened repeatedly, every time I received cashback and used it under $0 equity conditions. ❌ Why This Qualifies as a Cashback Scam? Not a single official Terms & Conditions states that cashback will be forfeited if the balance reaches zero. It is never explained that positions must remain open or the balance cannot be empty. Frequently Asked Questions About AMarkets

  • What should I consider when choosing an online broker like AMARKETS?

When choosing AMARKETS, give priority to the available risk information. Current data gives AMARKETS a verdict of Higher Risk, indicating material limitations in regulatory support, scoring performance, or risk records. Do not deposit funds based only on advertising, social-media recommendations, or positive reviews; first check negative exposure records, regulatory licenses, and withdrawal rules.

  • How can I tell whether AMARKETS is regulated?

AMARKETS currently displays regulatory information, but a highest regulator grade of B should not be interpreted as strong regulation. Check whether each license status is current, whether its regulatory scope covers the actual business, and whether the licensed company matches the entity shown in the account-opening process.

  • Does investor protection compensate normal trading losses?

No. Investor protection generally concerns matters such as client-fund segregation, institutional insolvency, or improper handling under specific regulatory rules. It does not compensate normal trading losses and may not apply to every account entity or account-opening region.

  • Can a regulated broker still experience problems?
