Nowadays Forex trading is not the same as it was ten years ago since it has witnessed many changes and developments, and trading platforms have also appeared in the late nineties.

Recently, trading platforms began to provide services of opening a real account for trading digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, which are among the most popular ones in the world of advanced cryptography.

      Trading platform

This is the workplace of traders and a program, through which traders are linked to financial markets. Traders can choose whichever platform they want, but this choice is closely related to the brokerage company providing the platform.

All trading platforms are characterized by many amenities that give users opportunities to make profit and display currency rates such as the prices of the New Zealand dollar, the US dollar and the euro. The best choice for trading is determined by the differences in operating speed, user interface, available tools and the level of safety offered by the platform, thus such choice may vary from user to user according to individual needs.

      MetaTrader 4 platform

MetaTrader 4 is the most prominent and famous platform in the world as it has gained widespread popularity for more than ten years and can be downloaded for free.

The main features of the MetaTrader 4 platform-

      1. Mobility

The MetaTrader 4 platform is mobile, meaning that tradings can be done not only on the computer, but also via smartphones and tablets.

      2. Multitasking and functions

The MetaTrader 4 platform has been created by the “MetaQuotes Software Corporation” based in Cyprus and has been provided with many different functions and tasks that facilitate the process of Forex and CFD tradings. The platform also offers a range of trading and analysis techniques in addition to currency news with a lot of services. Whats more, it also contributes to concluding deals well.

      3. Safety

The platform is supported by a strong security system based on the RSA program, which is an asymmetric encryption program.

      MetaTrader 5 platform

The MetaTrader 5 platform is similar to the MetaTrader 4 platform in many aspects from the perspectives of both the technology and the operation. It was launched five years after the launch of MetaTrader 4. Since it was designed to work with an advantage, the reality is quite different because it dose to some extent the same as the MetaTrader 4 platform. Nevertheless, it has targeted various markets such as equity and commodity because it has the ability to better connect with the central trading exchange.

The MetaTrader 5 platform also differs from the MetaTrader 4 platform in programming language. We find that the five-point platform uses a language called “MQL5”, while the quad-platform uses the “MQL4” language. The programming language of MetaTrader 5 platform is easier and better for many clients.

Moreover, the MetaTrader 5 platform differs from the MetaTrader 4 platform in time frames. We find that there are about 21 frames in the MetaTrader 5 platform, while there are only about 18 frames in the MetaTrader 4 platform. In addition, the programs loaded on the MetaTrader 4 platform do not work on the MetaTrader 5 platform.
