Slippage: The platform's advertised slippage protection sounds good, but in practice, it's far from guaranteed. Last week, I placed a breakout order on GBP/JPY with a buy stop at 158.5. When it was triggered, the price jumped to 158.7, a 20-point drop. Even more frustrating was when I was trading crude oil on the night of the non-farm payroll report. My stop-loss wasn't hit, but it was closed at a much higher level. Customer service simply said, "Market volatility." However, during normal times with less volatility, the slippage is generally under 5 points. It's not unusable, but it's frustrating to see it fail at crucial moments.
