The biggest downside in my eyes is the expired regulation. On top of that, there’s no MT4 or MT5 support, which limits technical trading tools. I also don’t like that spreads and leverage details aren’t clearly disclosed — as a trader, I want to know all the numbers before I start trading.
The brokstock minimum deposit is just R100. Personally, I like this because it allows me to start small and test their service before deciding to put in larger amounts. My first deposit was R200 and it arrived in my account within about two hours.
I’ve traded South African JSE stocks, US stock CFDs, ETFs, and several cryptocurrencies here — in fact, there are 59 different crypto CFDs available. It’s a decent variety, but they don’t seem to offer metals in practice despite mentioning them in fee lists.
As far as I can tell, there’s no demo account available. That means beginners would have to risk real money right away — in my case, I just started with the brokstock minimum deposit so I could test the platform without risking too much.
