Purpose

Hong Kong, China's foreign exchange market is a mature offshore forex market that developed in the 1970s. As one of the world's important financial hubs, it has distinctive features such as a sound regulatory system, free cross-border capital flow, and diverse market participants, and is a core gathering place for forex trading in the Asia-Pacific region. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange dealers in the region, we conducted an on-site visit to Hong Kong, China.

Process

This visit, as planned, went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Wealth Gold Group. According to public information, its office address is Room K, 19/F, King Palace Plaza, 55 King Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced visit team, with a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, according to a well-planned schedule, went to Hong Kong, China. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Wealth Gold Group that claims to be located at Room K, 19th Floor, King Palace Plaza, 55 King Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

The visitors successfully arrived at King Palace Plaza. The location is in the core commercial and trade cluster area of Kwun Tong. The surrounding buildings are mostly Grade A commercial office buildings. There are no traces of relevant signage of the corresponding broker in the street environment. We took complete panoramic photos of the building.

No company signage or promotional information related to Wealth Gold Group was found on the exterior of the building.

The visitors entered the lobby on the first floor of the building, stated their purpose to the security guard, and after a brief exchange of information, successfully obtained permission to enter the building and were able to move freely to the target floor.

After arriving at the target floor, the 19th floor, the visitors checked each office unit on the floor one by one. They found no office area of Wealth Gold Group with obvious company signage, and the floor directory in the building also completely lacked any relevant information about the company.

Since no entrance to the corresponding company was found throughout the process, we were unable to enter the company's interior and could not photograph the reception desk or its LOGO at all. The premises are not a shared office.

No passage was found throughout the process that could allow observation of the company's internal environment. The company's office area was inaccessible, which is completely inconsistent with the information publicly stated by the broker.

Therefore, after the on-site visit, it was confirmed that the broker Wealth Gold Group does not exist at the above address. Upon arrival, the address was confirmed, but no information about the broker was found. When asked, the security guard said that there is no such company. It is judged to be false.

Conclusion

The visiting personnel went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Wealth Gold Group. At the publicly displayed business address, they were unable to see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
