General Information & Regulation

TopstepFX is an online broker allegedly registered in Unite States, owned and operated by TopstepTrader, LLC. As a US-based broker, TopstepFX does not fall under regulation of any financial authority like NFA, which means that it is probably an offshore broker. Clearly, TopstepFX is not subject to any regulation, so it is unsafe to invest with this broker.

Markets Instruments

There are only two classes of trading assets on the TopstepFX platform: Currency Pairs (Major Pairs, Euro & British Pound Crosses, Yen Crosses, as well as other Crosses) and Futures (CME Equity Futures, CME Foreign Exchange Futures, CME Agricultural Futures, CME NYMEX Futures, CME CBOT Agricultural Futures, CME CBOT Equity Futures, CME CBOT Financial/Interest Rate Futures, CME COMEX Futures).

Forex Accounts

To fit various traders trading style, there are three trading accounts on offer. The $200K account costs you $125 per month and starts you off with $2000, offering the leverage up to 1:100. To achieve a funded account, you need to reach a profit target of $2000 without losses for any single week exceeding $1300 during the first stage of the simulation or $650 during the second stage of the simulation.

The $300K account is subject to monthly price of $165, which increase your starting value to $3000 and your weekly loss limit to $2000, or $1,000 during the second phase of the trial period. Lastly, the 500K account needs a monthly fee of $275. Your weekly loss limit is $3300 during the first phase of the simulation and $1650 during the second phase.

Futures Accounts

There are also three trading accounts offered for futures trading. The $50K accounts costs you $165 per month, and you need to reach a profit target of $3000, with maximum position size of 5 contracts. The $100K account costs you $325 per month, and you need to reach a profit target of $6000, with maximum position size of 10 contracts. The $150K account is subject to a monthly fee of $375, and you need to reach a profit target of $9000, with the maximum position size of 15 contracts.

TopstepFX offers MT4 trading platforms. MT4 features powerful analytics and charting software, plus dozens of available add-on tools to keep you in control. MT4 is compatible with all your devices.

Trading Combine

The Trading Combine is TopstepFXs two-phase trading simulation that traders have to succeed at in order to achieve a funded account. During this simulation, you are able to trade most major currency pairs as well as minor pairs involving the Pound, Euro, or Yen.The goal of the Trading Combine is to reach a profit target, which is equal to the amount of money that you start with in your account.
